Reinvent the Warehouse

San Francisco
Reinvent the Warehouse
The sum doesn't always have to be greater than the parts. Standard Industrial, the former single-tenant warehouse and office property in Windsor, recently signed four new industrial users as part of its new lease on life: as a multi-tenant complex.

The 90-acre complex is occupied by 300k SF of manufacturing buildings and is the one-time home of Standard Structures, which built the Giants? oversized Coke Bottle at A&T Park, among other engineered wood products. The Caletti family, long-time owners of Standard Structures until selling it in 2011, formed Shiloh Oaks Co to manage and redevelop the site. The four newly signed tenants join a dozen existing industrial users as part of the multi-tenant transformation. Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank SVPs Barry Palma and Preston Smith are handling leasing. The new tenants include sculptor David Best of Burning Man Festival fame. (Though if you remember what he looks like, you probably weren't there.)
