|Twitter occupied its new digs at 1355 Market last week (and yes, it tweeted the news). The social media company plans to house 800 employees in the mid-Market Street area building (relocating from 795 Folsom), thanks to some well-placed payroll tax breaks.|
|The building is under renovation by the Shorenstein Co, which acquired the art deco edifice last year. Today we talked with BNBuilders’ Rob Melinauskas, the project leader for the 1.4M SF Market Square project. He tells us this is the renovation of the old furniture mart, which is being converted into office buildings. Rob’s the leader of BNBuilders’ San Francisco office, which is managing more than $100M worth of projects. You can learn more about the firm on June 28, when Rob’s a panelist at Bisnow’s San Francisco State of Office Summit at the Intercontinental Hotel. Sign up here!|
