BACK TO BOMA
BOMA EVP Marc Intermaggio (aka, the hit drummer in The Real Band) has been fighting on behalf of San Francisco CRE since 1982. Like all heroes, he has received his own personal comic strip painting illustrating his accomplishments. Most notably, Marc and BOMA were responsible for helping us become one of the most sustainable cities in America, thanks in part from BOMA’s educational initiatives and partnerships with local disposal and waste management companies. It's a far cry from the old days when city employees used to celebrate Dec. 31 by climbing to the top of their office building and throwing all of their office’s old paper calendars off the roof. (Old-fashioned rainmakers.)
BACK TO BOMA
Marc recently made time to visit Tuscany or Cabo San Lucas. Otherwise, he's with BOMA public affairs director Ken Cleveland, and legislative assistant John Mozeman, ensuring San Francisco's emerging frenzy of mobile food truck dining is implemented and regulated without compromising brick and mortar retailers. While they love taco trucks as much as we do, they want local mobile vendors working in a way that benefits the community without harming ground floor food retailers and commercial tenants. Ken has also been pushing back against a local legislative proposal that will require all small commercial building owners to have their entrances ADA compliant by 2013.
