Reznick Capital Markets managing director Michael Hartman may have just lost the point here, but he’ll have many great points to offer on July 31 at Bisnow’s Investment Summit. (He plays tennis two to three times a week; favorite player: Novak Djokovic.) On Oct. 1, he says, Reznick will merge with J.H. Cohn to form CohnReznick, which will become the 11th largest accounting firm in the world. Michael believes that two events must occur before we know where the economy is headed: the presidential election and a solution from Spain and Greece with the Eurozone crisis. Meanwhile, Michael tells us “all capital sources are chasing apartments,” and 90% are buying or developing multifamily assets.
