Swift Real Estate Partners Hires New CIO

Swift Real Estate Partners Chief Investment Officer Damian Manolis

San Francisco-based Swift Real Estate Partners has appointed Damian Manolis as chief investment officer. Manolis will work closely with the portfolio and asset management teams and oversee Swift’s investment infrastructure. He will play a key role in fundraising and investor relations.

Manolis previously had a 24-year career with PGIM Real Estate, formerly Prudential Real Estate Investors, and most recently served as head of its U.S. transactions group and chair of its investment committee. His experience includes two years in Singapore leading Prudential’s regional business. During this time, he facilitated the consolidation of two closed-end real estate funds into the $3B AsiaRetail open-end fund.

Since its founding in 2010, Swift has raised about $1B in equity. Its most recent fundraising for Fund II totaled over $400M. About $560M of discretionary buying power remains available for deployment for Fund II assets. Swift also has purchased over $1.9B and 8.4M SF since its inception.
