Zephyr Targets Dana Point For Mixed-Use

In its first foray to Orange County, San Diego-based Zephyr is going to take something mobile and turn it into something more permanent. The firm just purchased nine acres in Dana Point for $50M with plans to develop a 168-unit high-end townhome project and seven mixed-use structures next to Doheny State Beach and Dana Point Harbor. Completion at the former mobile home park site at 34202 Del Obispo St is expected by 2019. Zephyr's Brad Termini (here) says with the revamp of Dana Point Harbor, downtown and other major renovations in the area, the firm thought the location is ideal for the project.
