Scottsdale Commands Major Retail Attention

Retailers are clamoring to strengthen their presence in Scottsdale. “The area continues to generate strong interest among retailers,” DTZ managing director Cliff Johnston tells us. “Not only have rents in the area stabilized, but they have steadily increased because of the barriers to entry in the submarket," he explains. The latest retailer to come to the market is Colorado-based Natural Grocers, which inked a lease for 27k SF at Scottsdale Towne Square at 13802 N Scottsdale Rd. Cliff and colleague John Appelbe repped the landlord, Holualoa Scottsdale Retail. Scottsdale Towne Square's an infill location with strong demographics for both daytime and resident population, Cliff notes.
