This Thanksgiving, Hines' Chris Anderson is thankful for his wife and kids, seen here, but also for being able to destroy something. “After navigating through two years of legal complexities, I am thankful to close the chapter on Elevation Chandler,” he says. Last week, Hines demolished the unfinished structure there to make way for Chandler Viridian, a mixed-use project that will include apartments, a hotel, 250k SF of Class-A office space and retail.

Nature has a sense of humor, or perhaps the mixed-use center will be as good as a pot of gold, as a rainbow appeared during the razing last week. Chris says Hines will begin construction of the Viridian project after the New Year, with Alliance Residential tapped to develop the Class-A apartment complex.
