Microsoft To Open Innovation Center In UCity Square

Microsoft is set to open its first office space in the City of Philadelphia this summer with the announcement of its Microsoft Innovation Center.

The software giant is moving into the first floor of the University City Science Center building at 3711 Market St, where it will be within the uCity Square center for technology startups. The MIC, built in collaboration with SeventySix Capital, will host myriad programs and initiatives to encourage entrepreneurs in tech.

The center is scheduled to launch in time for the Democratic National Convention starting on July 25, and to host events centered around the convention.
