Brandywine Does DC Deal

Radnor-based Brandywine Realty Trust is partnering with DC developer Akridge to build a 275k SF mixed-use development a block away from Nationals Park in DC. The project will include office space, 25k SF of retail space and a fitness facility, as well as a rooftop terrace with views of the ballpark. The DC area is one of Brandywine’s core markets, reports the Philadelphia Business Journal. Brandywine paid Akridge $20M four months ago to acquire the parcel where the new development will go.
