Nets Without Spiderman

Everyone might be thinking about winter now, but we found something to look forward to next summer at the Race Street Pier Park in downtown Philadelphia: a huge climb-through net structure. It’ll be a piece of interactive public art that puts mere statues to shame. The city’s Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy is working with Numen/For Use, a European design collective, to make it happen. The design is still preliminary, but it might look something like the one Numen/For Use did in Moscow. |
