EY (formerly Ernst & Young) is moving Tysons addresses. The services firm has agreed to lease 125k SF in 1775 Tysons Blvd, the under-construction trophy office building from Lerner Enterprises. The 476k SF, 17-story building is expected to be completed by the end of this year, when it will become the first LEED Platinum building in Tysons. Lerner principal Mark Lerner called EY an "iconic tenant" for its newest trophy building. while EY will receive a $1.3M grant from Gov. Terry McAuliffe to stay in Virginia. It will expand from 8484 Westpark Dr, adding a planned 463 jobs and $12.6M in investment over the next three years. DC and Maryland were hoping to pry EY from Tysons, but the lure of the newest building in the Corporate Office Center at Tysons II, plus a seven-figure incentive package, was just too great. Cushman & Wakefield brokered the deal.
