The developer, partnering with Boston-based UDR Inc., filed plans last week for a 320K SF project at 500 Penn St. NE that will incorporate the industrial elements of the existing property, the Washington Business Journal reports.

LCOR and Edens' 187-unit The Edison apartment building, anchored by Trader Joe's, is delivering later this summer on the corner of Florida Avenue and 4th Street. Next to that, Edens, Level 2 and Trammell Crow broke ground last summer on a 432-unit project anchored by a 20K SF Latin marketplace created by Jose Garces. Next to The Edison on Florida Avenue, Level 2, Federal Capital Partners and Clark Enterprises broke ground in February on The Highline, a 318-unit apartment building with ground-floor retail expected to deliver in 2019.
