At yesterday's CREW DC monthly luncheon at the Grand Hyatt,Brookfield Property Group's Michelle Berliner,Clarion Partners' Marc DeLuca, and Public Building Services commish Dorothy Robyn (above, with moderator Diana Horvat of Perkins+Will) spoke on the finer points of reuse and repositioning.The panel pointed out both public and private examples that are flourishing locally, such as the St. Elizabeths campus as well as Clarion's's Chevy Chase Pavilion in Friendship Heights, which coincidentally will be unveiled at a grand reopening tonight.
