Carr Properties vice chair of operations Rich Greninger (also BOMA's chairman and chief elected officer), gave us the lowdown on what to expect at the conference this year. Since more BOMA members are adding industrial properties to their portfolios, the org has added industrial tracks to address the challenges and opportunities of the sector, he says. Densification of office space and how it affects the industry is another hot topic. And part of BOMA's new strategic plan is to expand its global presence, which is already apparent in the number of international attendees this years: almost 100 affiliates from 28 countries, with the newest coming from Greece, Panama, and Russia.
