Yesterday, Whole Foods generated buzz when it announced it'll open up a monthly pop-up market in the St. Elizabeths East campus' Gateway Pavilion. It's a big get for the neighborhood, and DC Economic Partnership head Keith Sellars tells us it could be a signal of more to come: "Whole Foods' interest is further testament to the strength of the market east of the river." The market is scheduled to open next Saturday.
