Monday Properties has filled two spots in its20k SF tech spec suite space--dubbed The Ground Floor--on the firm's, you guessed it, ground floor of 1400 Key Blvd in Rosslyn. Monday prez Brian Robin (snapped at our Arlington event last month) says tech firms Global Voice Hall and EvEMR will move into the space in mid July, and should benefit from the independent access of the street-level entrance, as well as the plug-and-play nature of the space.

Brian says the development of The Ground Floor not only alleviated the departure of GSA tenants from 1400 Key but also represents Monday diversifying the price points within its portfolio. The company is aiming to "develop a menu that lines up with a range of tenants," in its portfolio. And he tells us The Ground Floor offers what younger tech firms are looking for, including flexible lease terms, lots of common-area space (like a dedicated bike room), and an event area to mingle with co-tenants. The Ground Floor will have nine total suites.
