Monday Properties has brought Baltimore-based brewery concept Heavy Seas Alehouse to its 1501 Wilson Blvd in Rosslyn, the firm just announced. Development chief Tim Helmig tells us this morning that the restaurant will contribute to the neighborhood's transition into a true live-work-play environment. Rosslyn "has the live and work part down pat, but the play and entertainment part has been a real focus," he says, adding that future restaurants at the firm's 1100 Wilson and 1812 N Moore projects will further the cause. It'll be the second location for Heavy Seas, joining its other spot in Baltimore's Fells Point. (BRAC is bringing tenants back to Rosslyn, butnow it stands for Brews, Ales, and Cocktails.)
