Food Incubator Expands to Ivy City

Union Kitchen is preparing its new Ivy City space next door to the Hecht Co. Warehouse, Washington Business Journal reports. Permits were filed for electrical and plumbing upgrades, dry wall, carpentry and workstations for the 24k SF space. 1369 New York Ave NE is the food incubator’s second location, as it outgrew its original space. Now it will have room for more pot brownies…and 70 new members. [WBJ]
