Eataly to Capitol Crossing?

The NYC-bred concept has had DC in its sights for years, but it's apparently found its landing spot at PGP's 2M SF Capitol Crossing project on top of 395. (Aren't land-grabby Italians part of the reason WW I started?) UrbanTurf reported yesterday that the Italian food market has signed an LOI for 30k SF to 35k SF at the project, which just began site work but won't deliver until 2017 at the earliest. PGP declined comment on the rumors.
