Cushman & Wakefield Hires Cresa Principal Jon Olmstead As Tenant Rep Exec

Cushman & Wakefield is beefing up its DC tenant rep team with a new executive managing director.

Jon Olmstead was previously a principal at Cresa, where he has worked since 1997. In July, he represented The Motley Fool in a 115k SF Alexandria office renewal. His other clients included ESI International, Watkins Meegan, Kaiser Associates and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.

“Adding Jon to the team, with his expertise and in-depth knowledge of the DC market, will be crucial in helping our clients identify and align their real estate objectives," Cushman & Wakefield executive managing director Peter Carroccio said in a release.

Olmstead is the second big addition to Cushman & Wakefield's tenant rep team in the last month after the firm brought on Matt Garcell as managing director from CBRE. Two weeks earlier, the firm hired Bruce Pascal from Vornado, also as executive managing director.
