Washington, DC: The Advisory Board Co. at 655 New York Ave. NW (rendered above). CBRE's Randy Harrell and Mark Klug represented Douglas Development, while JLL's Greg Lubar, Trip Howell, Amy Bowser and Marshall Durston represented The Advisory Board in its 530K SF deal.
Virginia: MC Dean at Meridian Group's Greensboro Station. CBRE's Malcolm Schweiker and JR Redeker represented the tenant.
Maryland: Abt Associates at Executive Plaza. Avison Young's Jack McShea, Bob Dickman, Bob Wrightson and Brian McCarthy represented the landlord, Monument Realty. Cushman & Wakefield's Kevin McGloon and NGKF's Phil Giunta represented the tenant.
Under 75K SF: Fish & Richardson at The Wharf. JLL's Brian Dawson represented the landlord, Hoffman-Madison Waterfront, while CBRE's Mark Minich represented the tenant.

Sales Transaction of the Year: Apex Building in Bethesda (above). Carr Properties bought the 163K SF building from The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists for $105.5M. The brokerage team included Cushman & Wakefield's Bill Collins, Paul Collins, Drew Flood and Shaun Weinberg.
Finance Transaction of the Year: LCOR Portfolio. CBRE closed a $371M debt and equity recapitalization on behalf of LCOR for its 2,700-unit apartment portfolio. Brokers included CBRE's David Webb, Jamie Butler, Maxi Thiels, Bill Roohan, Mike Muldowney, Mike Rudolph, Brian Margerum and Martha Hastings.
Retail Transaction of the Year: Saks Off 5th and Nordstrom Rack at 555 12th St. NW. MetLife retained Dochter & Alexander Retail Advisors to help reposition the retail component on the south side of this downtown building. The brokers signed Nordstrom Rack and Saks for a total of 74K SF.
