This week, we caught up with Golden Triangle BID executive director Leona Agouridis at Firehook Bakery, who tells us the BID is launching a mobile app in April that will update neighborhood tenants on happenings such as retail and restaurant specials and happy hours.
Meanwhile, Crystal City BID CEO Angie Fox (middle) updated us on the neighborhood's 1K Wine and Beer Walks, held over the last two weekends in the Crystal City Underground. "Contestants" sampled wine two weeks ago and beer last weekend, where Angie was snapped with (left to right) LCOR's Harmar Thompson (also the BID chairman, with wife Christy and son Grimes) and Vornado's Mitch Bonanno (with twins Nick and Mallory). Over 4,000 attended the events over both weekends, Angie says.
