30 Chefs and 500 Business Cards

Who doesn't like eating—especially great food? Combine it with networking, and we hope you go home with both a full tummy and plate of business deals. That's the point of the 2014 Bisnow Super Schmooze, tomorrow evening at a spiffy new venue downtown.

Old timers may remember our venue—555 12th Street—as the site of the former ESPN Zone. At Super Schmooze, 30 of DC's best restaurants, many represented by famous chefs, will be on hand. And mixologists and bars will abound. Plus 500 execs from all industries in DC, including tech, law, associations, non-profits, finance, politics, government, and of course real estate. All for a ridiculous low price. (Last chance to sign up here.)

We've written up many of the chefs already, but here's a few more. GCDC's Bruce Klores will be on hand, and we snapped him in front of his favorite painting featuring Andrew Jackson’s big block of cheese. At Super Schmooze, Bruce will hand out grilled cheese ladyfingers stuffed with bacon, jalapeno, and cheddar cheese.

You’ll be able to spot Brabo Chef de Cuisine Harper McClure by his towering height (and big smile). Brabo by Robert Wiedmaier in Old Town Alexandria nabbed Harper about a year ago from The Federalist. Fun fact: Harper once spilled a few glasses of (red!) wine on culinary deity Daniel Boulud while reaching over the table to shake his hand at a wine dinner. Click here to see the whole list of amazing chefs who will be on hand.
