JLL Acquires Green Building Consulting Firm

JLL has acquired HFM, a Toronto firm that specializes in building commissioning and energy and efficiency consulting. HFM projects include Sun Life Manila (above), the first LEED-NC Gold office tower in the Philippines. JLL says it felt compelled to expand its energy-efficiency services because of increasing complexities in design and construction, shorter project timelines and tighter move-in schedules.
