Lots of news on the retail front. Sources tells us upscale Belgian fashion label Sarah Pacini is set to open in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. In restaurants, expect more news with the continued growth of the office sector in the core. A concept called The Fat Badger will open soon at 1616 Alberni St (in the former Le Gavroche space); Red Truck Brewery & Diner will open soon at 315 East 1st Ave (another of the new microbreweries popping up on the Lower Mainland scene—this one in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood); and look out for the new Kuro Restaurant and Bar at 1233 Hamilton St. Here is an image from the Sarah Pacini Moscow store.
