Golfing Lenders Raise Big Bucks For Peel Children’s Aid Society

A forecast of heavy rain and thunderstorms didn’t deter 144 golfers from coming out for the Commercial Real Estate Lenders Association’s inaugural golf tournament and raising $7,500 for Peel Children’s Aid Society. Here's RBC's Robert Peace and Taj Sian with Grant Smillie of FaithLife Financial. Amar tells us the morning began with a torrential downpour, “but that didn’t stop our 1pm shotgun start.” Participants had the chance to win gift cards for longest drive, closest to the pin and straightest drive, and could peruse an "extensive selection" of raffle prizes and silent auction items.
