Dundee Acquisitions Merges With CHC Student Housing

Dundee Acquisition and CHC Student Housing are joining forces, creating one of Canada’s largest pure-play student housing owner-operators. The combined entity will have 4,700 beds in 20 residential properties and 13 markets, including West Village Suites in Hamilton (above). Dundee Acquisition, a publicly traded affiliate of Dundee Corp, concurrently reached deals with third parties to acquire interests in additional student housing properties, including eight owned or managed by CHC. The total transaction is valued at $420M. Dubbed Canadian Student Living Group, the new entity will be led by CHC CEO Mark Hansen.
