RioCan Alters Plans

We've been covering the planned RioCan mixed-use development on Bathurst, just south of College, old Kromer Radio site. (The story has so many twists and turns, it's like trying to keep up with House of Cards.) Locals have been vocal in their opposition, worried that a planned Walmart for the upper two floors of the 130k SF complex would negatively impact area businesses. Last week RioCan announced it was backing away from including Walmart, as part of a revised plan submitted to the city.
