One More Step Towards Tunnel Opening

One of the city’s major infrastructure projects has taken another step towards completion. The Toronto Port Authority just completed the liner in the pedestrian tunnel connecting the mainland with Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. TPA prez Geoffrey Wilson says the next phase (finishing this winter) includes building the connecting terminal structures, as well as the installation of the moving walkways, escalators, and elevators.
