Anyone with an interest in downtown development and the future of the city is welcome to attend the ULI event on May 1 that tackles the issue of intensification of development in the core and Torontos rapidly changing skyline. (Which is hell for anyone trying to fly a kite with any aplomb.) Canderel EVP Ben Rogowski, Pinnacle VP sales and marketing Anson Kwok and Allied Properties president and CEO Michael Emory (photo) will be the speakers. Each of those companies is currently involved in either existing or proposed developments that will dramatically reshape the skyline. This particular program fits with the Urban Land Institutes overall mission, says ULI executive director Bob Millward. Its educative, and hopefully people who attend will get food for thought. The event will be at the Toronto Regional Board of Trade.
