Goodbye Jilly's

We’ll have more on this later this week, but the news this morning is that Streetcar Developments has purchased the Broadview Hotel at Queen and Broadview, the heritage building that has been both a hotel and home to the adult entertainment establishment. Jilly’s will be vacating the premises, and Streetcar will then address significant structural issues in the building after the city issued an Emergency Work Order in late 2013. In a statement, Streetcar says they don’t see the site as a residential condo development. We’ll get more detail this week. Snapped is an old shot of the hotel.
