Cadillac Fairview has completed a $21M revitalization at CF Shops at Don Mills, billed as Canada’s “first open air lifestyle shopping centre”.
The renovations for the 40-acre property — known for hosting outdoor events and activities throughout the year — include pedestrian upgrades, expanded entertainment and patio zones, a new property-wide sound system and overhead catenary lighting.
"When we began transforming the centre last year, our intent was to provide further integration with the growing condo community and amplify what was already a vibrant, mixed-use destination where people come together," Cadillac Fairview Senior Vice President, Development Niall Collins said in a news release.
Opened in 2009, CF Shops at Don Mills houses over 100 stores, services, restaurants and residences.
