Taylor & Mathis Bags Four TOBYs

Congrats to Taylor & Mathis of Florida, which took home a boatload of BOMA Miami-Dade 2015 TOBYs—more than any other area company this year. As a building management company, it received awards for 404 Washington, 355 Alhambra, 6505 Waterford and 6100/6303 Waterford. Other management company winners this year include JLL, Foram, Gibson Realty, Simon, Tilia Real Estate and Transwestern.

Taylor & Mathis director of leasing Jeannette Mendoza tells us there's been strong leasing activity at the eight buildings the company leases and manages at the Waterford at Blue Lagoon office park (which includes three of the prize winners). The company has executed 37 deals totaling 100k SF in the last year, with 38,500 SF in the past few months. There's a lot of interest among international companies in the location, she says, since it provides staff and clients easy access to MIA.
