Lux Hotel Underway Near Lake Washington

Seco Development started work on Hotel at Southport, a 350-room luxury hotel at the Southport project on Lake Washington that’s the third of four phases, following residential and commercial space. The market’s ripe for more luxury accommodations, Seco CEO Michael Christ notes, because global players in tech, aerospace and luxury retail all want to do business in greater Seattle. The hotel will also offer a 40k SF conference center, VIP lounge and restaurant, retail, 20k SF square feet of waterfront courtyards and plazas. It also has the distinction of being an EB-5 partially funded project. MulvannyG2 Architecture designed the structure; Sellen Construction is building it.
