| Lydig project manager Eric Oehling, here with BNBuilders's Ross Wildman, is leading a busy life: In addition to working with Clise on the 5th Avenue project, Lydig's working with King County on the Bow Lake transfer station, a high school for the Snohomish School District and a detention facility in LA. (The last two are different things, no matter what your teenager says.) "We're seeing a lot more requests for proposals on ground-up projects," Eric tells us. As the market thaws, the number of competitors is actually decreasing: "Instead of 10 or 12, you have four or five general contractors competing. There are more projects, so it's spreading the wealth." |
