Everyone's getting into the Olympic spirit. So we couldn't resist this pic of Mithun staff getting ready to compete in the two-person skeleton event at the firm’s Pier 56 office. Since 2002, the company has held its own biennial games coinciding with the Olympics, both in Seattle and San Francisco. (CFO Cathy Shan is on the sled on the right, though she’s a little hard to see.)

Mithun prez Dave Goldberg tells us that the games reflect the work the firm’s done for major companies in Seattle and Silicon Valley, since Millennials and GenX'ers take both work and play seriously (and new offices have to be designed with that flexibility in mind). Among other projects, the company recently completed the interiors of the Harley Marine HQ in Seattle, the 2013 NAIOP Office Development of the Year.
