Steadfast Senior Living will expand its portfolio into the Bay Area with a ground-up development in Morgan Hill. The assisted living and memory care facility will provide 67 apartment units.
Groundbreaking for the two-story 62K SF development is expected during summer 2017. The facility is expected to open in 2018.
The building will provide a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 400 SF to 1K SF with high ceilings, spacious bathrooms and kitchenettes.
Amenities will include large common areas, lounges, a bistro, a spa, a beauty salon, fine dining, a fitness center, a movie theater, a game room, a computer lab and a library. An enclosed courtyard will offer a fireplace, an outdoor fountain, barbecue, a putting green, gardens and walking paths.
Steadfast Senior Living, a division of Steadfast Cos., owns two other assisted living and memory care communities, the newly opened GranVida in Carpinteria, Calif., and Crestavilla, under construction in Laguna Niguel, Calif.
