San Jose Apartment Complex Receives Top Design Honors

Ascent Apartments in South San Jose garnered a top design award from the 2016 Best in American Living Awards hosted by the National Association of Home Builders. The 650-unit complex developed by Shea Properties and Ivanhoé Cambridge received the gold award under the category of Development Up To Four Stories, For Rent.

Ascent’s apartments range from 704 SF one-bedrooms to 1,575 SF for three bedrooms with a mezzanine. The building features mid-century modern design with open floor plans and luxury finishes. Ascent offers a resort-style saltwater pool and spa, courtyard kitchens with professional appliances, BBQ stations, an authentic pizza oven, a fitness center, a yoga courtyard and a park.

Ascent Apartments were designed by Architects Orange and built by Brown Construction. Interior spaces were designed by Style Interiors.
