Teamwrkx Construction’s John Aiassa Talks Auto-Related Real Estate

Teamwrkx (specifically Autowrkx) specializes in building automotive showrooms and is a leader in that vertical across the Bay Area. The company was built to be innovative and transparent from the way it sources assignments to how it streamlines project flow. More importantly, it was a chance to build a business that placed integrity and quality of service at the center of operations, according to co-founder John Aiassa. John will be one of our panelists at Bisnow’s Silicon Valley State of the Market event Sept. 15.

John is a veteran of the real estate business. He spent more than 25 years mastering various roles, such as business development, construction management and lending at industry leaders such as Heritage Bank of Commerce and Cornish & Carey.

For his current venture, Teamwrkx Construction, he teamed up with the out-of-the-box thinker and entrepreneur Eric Venzon. The duo met earlier in their careers, where John specialized in people management while Eric focused on logistics.

The ultimate goal is to preserve the trust John and his team have built, which means being very careful and intentional with project selection. “We say no when we have to to a project,” John told Bisnow. “[The client and Teamwrkx] carefully discuss if we can really offer them a service that will be meaningful.”

At the end of the day, John wants work to fulfill him and those of his team. “I have fun, and I enjoy what I do,” he says.

Hear him speak at our Silicon Valley State of the Market event starting at 7:30am Sept. 15 at The Westin San Jose.
