| On Thursday, we snapped Prudential Douglas Elliman's Rick Rosa, artist Carrie Sunday, and Douglas Elliman CEO Dottie Herman at the company's 980 Madison Avenue Gallery for the opening of Carrie's "Study in Meditation" show. When Dottie bought the firm, she'd stop in for the occasional drink at the Four Seasons and met Carrie, a server there. 15 years later came this show. Carrie creates abstracts with rolled paint samples and has plenty of art left in her, considering Duha paint kindly donated 15 palettes (920 colors) of the swatches. Rick, who started with Douglas Elliman in '02, heads up the showroom-new LIC office, proof that the neighborhood is finally taking off, 13 years after he moved in. |
