Could Salesforce be Sold?

Salesforce.com is working with banks to help to field takeover offers after being approached by a potential buyer. That doesn't mean a deal will happen, and the names of the acquirers are unknown, according to a Bloomberg report.  Salesforce jumped 11.6% in trading Wednesday, giving it a market value of about $49B. A takeover of Salesforce would be the largest ever of a software company. [Bloomberg]
