Elaine Forbes Appointed Executive Director For Port Of San Francisco

The Port of San Francisco just hired Elaine Forbes as executive director. Elaine, who will be speaking at our San Francisco's Future of Waterfront event next week, has served as the port's interim director since March after former director Monique Moyer left to work with CBRE, reports the San Francisco Business Journal.

Elaine has been with the port since 2010, when she was hired as finance director. Before joining the port, she served in various positions for the City of San Francisco and also worked with the City of Oakland, Urban Strategies Council and the California Budget Project. [SFBT]
