German Investor Buys Menlo Park Building for $62.1M

Hamburg, Germany-based Union Investment Real Estate GmbH has purchased a Class-A office building in Menlo Park for $62.1M.

The 59k SF building is at 4085 Campbell Ave and fully leased to two tenants, JLL and the law firm of Hogan Lovells. JLL just moved to its 20k SF space in the building earlier this year and has a lease that runs through 2025. Hogan Lovells occupies the remainder of the space with a lease through 2023.

The building was placed on the market in June by an affiliate of Goldman Sachs, which purchased the building two years ago for $47M. JLL repped the seller. [TR]
