Preliminary plans have been filed for a new residential project on Divisadero Street, replacing an existing car wash. Genesis Real Estate Group’s David Kriozere, previously of One Rincon Hill Developer Urban West Associates, and property owners Roy and Patty Shimek filed with the city to build a 158-unit residential building. The estimated $48M project would be at 444 Divisadero St at the corner of Oak Street and calls for a 148K SF, four-six story building which would include 7k-8k SF of retail, reports the San Francisco Business Times. The project would require the demolition of the car wash, gas station and two other buildings and be one of the largest new developments on that stretch of Divisadero. [SFBT]
