WWII Property Trades Hands

In one of only three 10-plus unit transactions in the Richmond District so far this year, an early-1900s wood-frame housing structure sold for nearly $5M. Located at 242 Fifth Ave, the wood-shingled structure was originally designed as six units, but was converted into 11 separate apartments after World War II. The property has a car pass-thru in the center of the building that leads to off-street parking and a recently legalized loft apartment constructed over an old horse barn. The development totals 8,340 SF. Colliers' Brad Lagomarsino and James Devincenti repped the buyer, a pair of related family trusts, and the seller, a private investor.
