More for-sale housing is on its way to San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood. DM Development will develop 815 Tennessee with financing partners Grosvenor Americas and First Republic Bank. The five-story, 69-unit building will open for sales in fall 2017 and be completed early in 2018. One-, two- and three-bedroom units will be available. This latest development follows close behind Trumark Urban’s Knox, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.

The building includes a 4,500 SF rooftop deck, parking, bike repair and storage areas and a staffed lobby with a custom lit art wall. The project, designed by BDE Architects, will incorporate a historic façade with a mix of wood and steel and contemporary lines. Edmonds & Lee will design the interiors. The Mark Co. is marketing the units, which are expected to start in the $700Ks.

The new housing is one block from the Muni T line, Caltrain and I-280 and close to Espirit Park and the Third Street corridor, which offers restaurants, bakeries, shops and art galleries.

DM Development is working on seven projects in Dogpatch, Hayes Valley and the Marina in San Francisco and in West Hollywood. These projects total 506K SF and 285 units valued at $474M.
