Trinity Place, underway at 33 8th St, got a helping hand this week from its youngest construction worker yet: Three-year-old Renzo from Seaside California, who suffers from Wilm’s tumor. Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area teamed with Swinerton and Trinity Properties to grant Renzo’s wish to be a “Construction Foreman” for the day. He traded in his toy trucks in his backyard for a real bulldozer to help with Phase 3 of the project.
Renzo operated a manlift, hauled dirt and operated a crane. The day started with a safety orientation and closed with Renzo leaving his mark on the project by making handprints in concrete, freshly leveled by him. The 19-story residential tower will have six levels of below-grade parking.
