Oakland's Rachel Flynn To Manage FivePoint's Concord Project

Oakland director of planning and building Rachel Flynn is leaving the city to oversee the Concord Naval Weapons Station project.

Rachel, shown above speaking at a Bisnow event, will become the VP of planning for FivePoint (a spinoff of Lennar) effective Oct. 3. She will supervise planning and entitlement for the Concord project managed by FivePoint on behalf of Lennar Concord. She worked for the City of Oakland for over three years.

“I look forward to working with Kofi Bonner, his team and the City of Concord in creating a major development that we can all be proud of,” Rachel says. “My work in Oakland has been enormously rewarding, and I will miss the many colleagues and friends I have worked with over these last few years.”
