Can Silicon Valley ever have enough huge campuses? Sares Regis Group of Northern California doesn’t think so.
A division just filed an application with the City to reposition and entitle a 1M SF office campus at West Maude Ave and East Middlefield Road. Commercial development president Jeff Birdwell says the 24-acre property, currently occupied by Synopsis, “presents a fantastic redevelopment opportunity to create a large-scale transit-oriented campus” in a primo location.

The existing campus: four office buildings totaling 400k SF fully leased to Synopsis, which will vacate upon 2015 lease expiration. This summer, the City of Mountain View is expected to adopt a new General Plan re-designating the area for higher-density office use. The property owner hired Jeff’s group to access the future market demand and begin the entitlement process. Cornish & Carey’s Phil Mahoney and Jack Troedson will be one of the teams working with him to create a plan.
